Yup today is saturday so it means NO SCHOOL!!! Its not that I don't like poly life, its just that it is very taxing. Week 2 has passed and within this 2 weeks, I have watched: The Shinning, Shadow of a Doubt, Wizard of Oz, V for Vendetta and lots of short films, animations and Korean MTVs. Out of all the movies I watched since I entered FSV, the one that sucked the most was last night's film.

Last night was the first SgNewWave meeting. Not bad on a whole, met Eugene, Lavanya, Kane and Ben. It was only the movie screening that sucked really badly. It was picked by a guy that went to the Berlin Film Festival. Supposed to be the opening film for the festival, I thought this might be quite good to be an opening film but NO! The film was draggy and so slow that even Shadow of a doubt (Black & White) can kick butt anytime. The film, about two kids who gets abandoned in a field by their stepmother and goes on a journey back home, has a really good plot. Pity the director wasted such a good plot.

What was even worse was that when some guy found the kids and wanted to bring them to their parents, the kids, like what they did to their stepmother, pissed the guy so much that he abandoned thm in the middle of the road. The ending was the worse I have ever seen. After the guy abandons the kids, they walk down the road and until out of sight (2-3mins) an it ends when their gone. Waste of 3 mins worth of film.

I believe that this movie has a hidden message: Film Festivals can get boring. If this was only the opening, what about the rest? Bad sheep spoil the flock.

I give this film a rating 1/10. Total waste of time.

Oh yea even until now, im sooooooo jealous for Mass Com ppl.... they get to do location video now... I so want to do it! As usual this makes me wonder why I choose FSV over MCM. Argg nvm! I'll get to do locvid either next sem or next year.... ARGGG I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!
